Sarah Halstead

I am delighted to be back singing again at Silsden's Proms on the Farm, this is my 12th year ....where has the time gone!

Thank you for having me back.

Singing has been a part of my life from an early age and I joined the Primary ranks of the Nelson Civic Choir and did my first solo "Somewhere over the Rainbow" aged 5.

I progressed through the Junior Choir; a highlight being at the age of 13, to sing solo when the choir completed at the Montreux Choral festival in Switzerland to a packed festival hall of over 3,000 people. I continue to sing at the Methodist Church in Silsden.

I am thrilled to be back singing along side the amazing Silver Tewit Band and Martin Hall, it's always a pleasure.

Proms on the Farm here in Silsden holds a special place in my heart, the atmosphere is always electric made special by Silsden`s Promenaders and it's just great fun . So here's to a fantastic evening and many more !!!!!
